Two story addition is ready for sheetrock and interior millwork. Essentially a new house because we did a "three wall renovation". Finally starting. The variance relaxation for side setback was approved at last nights Islip variance hearing. A written approval should be received within 7 days. Upon receipt we will file for the building permits. The drawings were submitted to Home Energy Solutions for the design of the HVAC system and accompanying Manual JSD.
The preliminary design proposal is complete and ready for preview. Below is a downloadable pdf of the design plan and some 3d renderings of the exterior. I will mail you hard copies for review. 
We measured and documented the house today. We started designs after obtaining zoning information from the building department. It was double AA zone but rezoned single A in the 1960's, therefore no variance will be required for a nonconforming lot. |
