Demolition started this week. The preliminary design proposal is complete and ready for review. Below are downloadable pdfs of the design plans and 3d renderings of the exterior. Design #1 is the smallest and most compact design. Design #2 adds additional space on the first floor for a separate laundry room and study. Design #3 flips the floor plan and has the garage on the right side. I don't think design #3 is worthy of pursuing because of the disjointed and misaligned geometry of the first and second floors. I can show you any color or siding combinations your wife might want to see. I chose to go with the casual classic beach side style. We can change the railings to marine cable railings for a more open look. We could also pursue a more modern stucco and black framed windows style. Anything is possible.
