The accessory apartment app, ZBA variance, and the Suffolk County septic app have all been approved. The town has reviewed the building plans but is requesting two additional clarifications. The plans examiner wants an analysis for shear wall design which we are reviewing today. She is also asking for an energy design by an approved HERS Rater including Manual J & S design and an affidavit of Third Party Testing for the air sealing details including blower door testing of the air tightness to confirm the construction adheres top our air sealing details. We've sent out multiple RFP to local RESNET Raters and received on price but we're waiting for a few competitive proposals.
