Many people ask us where Carmelhill Architects came from.
In 1997 my father and I decided to combine our resources and start a home construction business. I was in the middle of architecture school while my father had some experience in real estate and retail general contracting. So we decided to try spec. built homes.
Our first project was the raised ranch shown on the upper right which was located in Lake Carmel on a street named Deerhill Lane. We combined the town name with the street name and formed Carmelhill Corporation.
As I progressed with my architecture experience we added Carmelhill Drafting Studio. The company evolved further when I received my archiecture license in New York State, thus becoming Carmelhill Architects.

Recently, we went back to our original roots and completed the center hall colonial shown on the lower right in Commack.
We have intentionally kept our office small so we can provide a focused approach to our clients. There is always an opportunity arising for another commercial project, a restaurant renovation, or a new waterfront home. What ever the task, our team at Carmelhill Architects is eager to conquer a new challenge.
